The Data Controller
The data controller is the publisher of this site, an individual acting on a non-professional basis whose identity has been given to the host named in the legal notice (Article 6-III-2 of the law on confidence in the digital economy).
What Is Collected
The pages of this site are static. There's no form, no account to create, no advertising tracker. Traffic is counted only in aggregate, without cookies (details under “Site Traffic” below). Simply from your reading, the publisher collects no data that could identify a visitor.
Site Traffic
To find out how many pages are read, which ones, and from which sites people arrive here, the publisher uses its own audience counter, hosted with Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers service and D1 database). When a page displays, a short script sends only two pieces of information to the site itself, which relays them to this counter: the address of the page viewed (without its parameters) and the name of the site you came from, if any. A page that is reloaded, or reopened with the “back” button, sends nothing.
This counter sets no cookie, doesn't use browser storage, and assigns no identifier: it can't recognize a visitor from one page or visit to the next. It records neither your IP address nor your browser's characteristics: only aggregated counters — a number of views per site, per day, per page, and per referring site. Known bots are never counted among visitors: their visits are kept apart, under the name of their family only. These counters are kept 25 months at most, then deleted.
The script also keeps count of clicks to the shop this site links to. When you follow one of these links, it reports to the site, which relays it to the same counter, the address of the page the click comes from, the type of link (link in the text, box, or button), and the name of the site you arrived from on that page, if any — nothing else. All that remains is a total of clicks per day, per page, and per link type, with a number of clicks per day and per origin (search engine, assistant, social network, direct access), without cookie and without identifier, for 25 months at most.
These figures are used solely to measure this site's audience, for the publisher's account alone. They're not cross-referenced with other processing, used for advertising, or passed on; they don't let anyone follow your browsing on other sites. So framed, audience measurement doesn't require your consent (Article 82 of the loi Informatique et Libertés and CNIL recommendations on audience measurement); it rests on the publisher's legitimate interest in knowing how much the site is visited.
You can object at any time without affecting your reading of the site, for example by disabling JavaScript, or by using your content blocker to block this site's address /u8kuhc/qrt7j5, where the script sends its signal.
Technical Data at the Host
Cloudflare, Inc., the host, may keep connection logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent) to ensure the security and operation of the service. This processing depends on the host and its privacy policy, beyond the publisher's reach.
The law on confidence in the digital economy (Article 6-II) requires certain connection data to be kept for a limited period, so that offenses can be investigated.
No Cookies
This site sets no cookie, including for audience measurement. If an advertising or other tracker were ever added, this paragraph would be updated and a consent mechanism installed before any tracker that isn't strictly necessary is set.
Merchant Sites
Links sometimes lead to merchant sites. None of these links contains a tracking identifier, and the product images shown here are served by this site itself. On another site, its own privacy policy takes over.
Your Rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability over data about you. Since this site collects no data that identifies you, it holds in principle nothing about you; for any request, you can contact the host named in the legal notice, which will forward it to the publisher.
If you believe your rights aren't being respected, you can contact the CNIL: <https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes>.
Outside the European Union
Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., whose infrastructure may process data outside the European Union. These transfers rely on GDPR safeguards, in particular standard contractual clauses.
The audience-measurement counters are stored in a database located in the European Union. Each signal's passage through Cloudflare, Inc. may take place outside the Union, on the server closest to the visitor; Cloudflare adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
